On June 1st the school had a summer fair which was a fund raiser. There were many activities such as sucker toss, clown-o, and the bean bag toss. The bad thing was that the slip and slide was canceled, since the weather was terrible. It wasn’t raining; it was just cloudy and chilly. The slip and slide is a sheet of plastic, were the upper school spray water and soap onto the runway. Isaac, a 10yoc student said “AAA phhh… it didn’t look that good, it was just plastic, yes and no” to the question are you sad that the slip and slide was canceled, why? Sophia a girl from the 10yoc said “Tattoo’s” to the question what was your favorite activity. There were even baskets that you could bid on, such as:chocolate baskets, cookie basket, beach baskets, and bear baskets. Mr. Macmillan bought the bear basket. When he answered to this question he said well, my wife did to support the school, I liked the summer fun basket. Mrs. Macmillan said because they were having family over, so they bought instead of going to the shop. At the end the school raised about 2,200 KM altogether.
