100WC by Zsofia One rainy afternoon, Betty and Lisa were strolling up from the lake. The lake had been unexplained for centuries. Some legends say that a monster lives in the lake. But none of the young people believed in this myth. Suddenly, Lisa heard something. She froze in terror. A monster towered over the girls and sobbed,“What are you doing at the Forbidden Lake?” The monster’s mouth shivered in miserable sadness. As it shivered, they tried to calm him down by giving chocolate and pillows but nothing worked. The monster finally stopped. The next day, the girls went to visit the monster and became friends.
100WC by Ellie Ding went the school bell. I stared out the window into the snow. “Jack!” my teacher called.
“Oh right,” I answered. I headed out the door. When I found my friends Iasked them, “Has Wolf come?” Then Wolf came bolting down the sidewalk. When wewent by the general store, Wolf’s ears perked up ,I lost control! He started to dig in thesnow. Wolf nudged me. It was a small golden retriever. As it shivered we all steppedback, but I stepped forward. I picked it up and whispered, “I’ll call you Gold.” I carriedGold all the way back home to show Mother. |
