Descriptive paragraph by Haylie
The Oldest Truck in the World As soon as the key was turned the engine wheezed and spewed out a thick, black, cloud of smoke. What used to be shiny, ruby red paint was replaced with brown, gritty, rust from each storm that passed by.The old, black, tires had patches all over them, and were covered with lots of dry mud. Inside, the vehicle had an unbearable, oily smell and, the air-condition had died. The air bags were deflated and fell down to the dirty floor, while the steering wheel had been chewed and munched on by the dog. The seats were ripped to shreds, and someone had been cutting off the leathery seatbelts with a sharp pocket knife. The doors all had dents, the left headlight had shattered, and a window had a pretty noticeable crack. Also the locks wouldn’t lock like they should. Lastly for your information, the vehicle was very, very slow and always went rick, rack, rickety, rack along all of the dirt or gravel roads.Apparently, the truck was very old. Extremely old to tell the truth. The oldest truck in the world.
